A good friend of mine managed to get a 10,8 kilo fresh from the sea salmon, on our first evening there. Too bad we couldn't keep that up the rest of the days, but it was a great trip with good friends and I'm looking forward to do it again!
Just back from sunny Spain, and meeting some of the very best flycasting instructors, and outright friendly and great people.
I got to watch some interesting demonstrations by Alejandro Viñuales (CNL instructor and FFF MCCI) Cesar de la Hoz (CNL instructor and FFF MCCI) and Charles Easterling (FFF MCI and CBOG) and got to demonstrate myself.
Next week will see me trying to outwit a salmon or two, the salmon will probably win, but it's not going to stop me from trying anyway, if it was easy, it wouldn't be fun right?
Until next time, remember that 10 is the magic number (thanks Chuck!)
